Orazio L. Giliberti, M.D.
Dr. Giliberti has maintained a private practice in Totowa since 1988 and has performed thousands of ophthalmic surgical procedures including cataracts and laser procedures. Dr. Giliberti was trained in laser vision correction nearly 15 years ago in Canada, prior to FDA approval in the U.S. He was the first ophthalmologist in New Jersey to receive training in Toronto directly with VISX, the world's leading eye laser company. He completed his Fellowship in ophthalmology at Pennsylvania Hospital and completed his residency at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ). He offers custom care in the latest methods of refractive surgery including Custom LASIK, PRK, and LASEK.
In addition to being in private practice, Dr. Giliberti is Professor and Chairman of Ophthalmology at St. George’s University School of Medicine, Grenada, and holds the same position at Seton Hall University in New Jersey. He is also Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at UMDNJ. Dr. Giliberti has received the Physician Recognition Award each year from the American Medical Association (AMA). He is a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ASCRS). Ceaser Pitta, M.D.
He specializes in diseases of the retina including macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, macular holes, macular pucker as well as retinal detachment surgery. Dominick Golio, M.D.
He completed his primary surgical training at New York Medical College. He then completed additional fellowship training in Plastic Surgery at the University of Texas and Craniofacial Surgery at Primary Children’s Medical Center, Craniofacial Foundation of Utah Program in Salt Lake City. Dr. Golio was appointed adjunct professor of surgery for St. George's University in April 2005 and Clinical Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery and Ophthalmology at the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center in 2006. He is also the Director of Craniofacial and Pediatric Plastic Surgery at State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center. He has authored two text book chapters, several peer reviewed manuscripts and has lectured nationally and internationally on skull base surgery. Dr. Golio's research interests include management of keloids, advancements in management of Pediatric and Adult Craniomaxillofacial Trauma, and Head and Neck Reconstrcuctive Surgical Oncology. Dr. Golio is presently licensed to practice medicine in New York State and is in the process of obtaining his New Jersey license.
